This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how Infinity Marketr handles service cancellations, project terminations, advance payments, and refund requests.
This policy applies to web design and development, digital marketing, SEO, branding, content creation, consulting, maintenance, and other agency services provided by Infinity Marketr.
By approving a quotation, making a payment, or using our services, you agree to this policy.
Where a quotation, proposal, invoice, scope of work, or written service agreement contains specific cancellation or refund terms, those specific terms will apply to the relevant project.
1. General Policy
Infinity Marketr provides customized professional services that require planning, research, team allocation, creative work, technical preparation, and reserved production time.
For this reason, a payment does not automatically qualify for a full refund after work, planning, resource allocation, or third-party purchasing has begun.
Eligible refunds will be assessed fairly based on:
- The amount paid
- Work already completed
- Time already spent
- Resources already allocated
- Approved project milestones
- Third-party costs
- Payment processing charges
- The reason for cancellation
- The remaining uncompleted scope
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory rights available under applicable law.
2. How to Request a Cancellation
A cancellation request must be submitted in writing through our official email address or another approved written communication channel.
The request should include:
- Client’s full name
- Company or business name
- Project or service name
- Invoice or payment reference
- Reason for cancellation
- Requested cancellation date
- Relevant supporting information
A verbal request will not normally be treated as a confirmed cancellation.
The cancellation will be reviewed from the date we receive a clear written request.
3. Cancellation Before Work Begins
A client may request cancellation before substantive work begins.
Where no planning, research, consultation, account setup, resource allocation, procurement, or production work has started, the client may qualify for a refund after deducting applicable costs, including:
- Payment gateway charges
- Bank or transaction fees
- Administrative costs
- Consultation fees
- Planning or research costs
- Third-party purchases
- Non-recoverable expenses
A full refund may be provided only where no meaningful work has begun and Infinity Marketr has not incurred any project-related cost.
4. Cancellation After Work Begins
If a project is cancelled after work begins, the client will remain responsible for:
- Work already completed
- Time already spent
- Research and planning
- Meetings and consultations
- Creative or technical production
- Project management
- Resources already allocated
- Approved milestones
- Third-party purchases
- Other non-recoverable costs
Any unused balance relating to genuinely uncompleted work may be considered for a partial refund after the project has been reviewed.
A partial refund is not guaranteed solely because the full project has not yet been delivered.
5. Completed or Approved Work
Refunds will normally not be available where:
- The agreed work has been completed
- The client has approved the work
- A project milestone has been approved
- Final files have been delivered
- Source files or access credentials have been handed over
- A website has been published or made live
- A campaign has been launched
- Content has been published
- The client has started using the deliverables
- The relevant service period has already been completed
Requests for additional changes after approval will be handled as revisions or additional work, not as refund claims.
6. Advance Payments and Deposits
Advance payments or deposits are used to reserve project time, assign team members, begin planning, and secure required resources.
An advance payment is not automatically refundable after work or resource allocation begins.
Where cancellation occurs, Infinity Marketr may deduct:
- The value of work already completed
- Reserved production time
- Planning and consultation costs
- Administrative expenses
- Third-party charges
- Other committed project costs
Any remaining refundable balance will be calculated after these deductions.
7. Milestone-Based Projects
For milestone-based projects:
- Completed milestones are non-refundable
- Approved milestones are non-refundable
- Work completed within an active milestone is chargeable
- Future unstarted milestones may be cancelled
- Any refund will be limited to the eligible unused balance
Cancellation of a later milestone does not cancel payment obligations for work completed under an earlier milestone.
8. Monthly and Recurring Services
This section applies to services such as:
- SEO retainers
- Digital marketing management
- Advertising management
- Social media management
- Content retainers
- Website maintenance
- Technical support
- Ongoing consulting
Monthly or recurring services are generally billed in advance.
Once a billing period has started, the payment for that period is normally non-refundable because team time, planning, monitoring, and service capacity have already been allocated.
A cancellation request will usually take effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise agreed in writing.
To avoid a future renewal, the client should submit a written cancellation request before the next billing date.
Any work outside the current paid period will stop after the cancellation becomes effective.
9. Advertising Budgets
Advertising budgets paid to or spent through platforms such as Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, or other advertising networks are separate from Infinity Marketr’s management fees.
The following are non-refundable once used or charged:
- Advertising spend
- Platform fees
- Taxes charged by the platform
- Currency conversion charges
- Payment processing fees
- Media placement costs
- Influencer or publisher payments
Unused advertising funds held directly by a third-party platform will be subject to that platform’s own billing and refund rules.
Infinity Marketr cannot guarantee a refund from a third-party advertising platform.
10. Third-Party Products and Services
Payments made for third-party products or services are normally non-refundable after purchase or activation.
These may include:
- Domain registration
- Web hosting
- SSL certificates
- Premium themes
- Plugins
- Software subscriptions
- API services
- Stock images
- Stock videos or audio
- Fonts and licenses
- Email or SMS services
- Payment gateway services
- Cloud services
- External consultants
- Influencers
- Publishers
- Other licensed assets
Any available refund for a third-party purchase will depend on the third party’s own policy.
11. Domain and Hosting Services
Domain registration and renewal payments are generally non-refundable after the domain has been registered or renewed.
Hosting refunds, where available, depend on:
- The hosting provider’s policy
- Whether the service has been activated
- The period already used
- Setup or migration work
- Licensing charges
- Other non-recoverable expenses
Infinity Marketr will not be responsible where a third-party domain or hosting provider refuses a refund.
12. Web Design and Development Refunds
Web design and development services are customized according to each client’s requirements.
Refunds will normally not be available for:
- Completed research or planning
- Wireframes or prototypes
- Approved designs
- Developed pages or features
- Custom code
- Database work
- Website configuration
- Theme or plugin setup
- Testing and quality assurance
- Website migration
- Published websites
- Completed project milestones
- Work delayed by missing client materials
Where a project is cancelled before completion, any eligible refund will be based only on the uncompleted and unused portion of the project fee.
13. SEO Service Refunds
SEO is an ongoing process affected by competition, website condition, content quality, search engine algorithms, market conditions, and client cooperation.
A refund will not normally be provided because:
- A keyword did not reach a desired position
- Rankings changed
- Traffic did not reach an expected level
- Search engines changed their algorithms
- A page was not indexed
- A competitor performed better
- Leads or sales did not meet expectations
- The client stopped the service before sufficient time passed
Refund eligibility will be based on whether the agreed SEO work was performed, not whether a particular ranking or commercial result was achieved.
14. Digital Marketing Refunds
Digital marketing and advertising performance cannot be guaranteed.
A refund will not normally be provided because:
- A campaign produced fewer leads than expected
- Leads did not convert into sales
- The cost per lead increased
- A platform rejected an advertisement
- An advertising account was restricted
- Audience behavior changed
- The client’s offer, price, product, or website affected performance
- A platform changed its policies or algorithms
Where Infinity Marketr completed the agreed campaign management work, the service fee will remain payable regardless of the final commercial outcome.
15. Branding, Design, and Content Refunds
Branding, design, and content services involve customized creative work.
Refunds will normally not be available for:
- Research and creative direction
- Concepts already presented
- Drafts already delivered
- Approved designs or content
- Revisions already completed
- Rejected concepts
- Work that matches the approved brief
- A client’s change of preference
- A change in the client’s business direction
- Delays caused by missing feedback or information
Where a client changes the original brief, additional work may require a revised quotation rather than a refund.
16. Client-Caused Delays
Project timelines depend on the client providing required:
- Information
- Content
- Access credentials
- Feedback
- Approvals
- Payments
- Legal or brand materials
A delay caused by the client does not automatically qualify the client for a refund.
Where a project remains inactive because the client does not respond, Infinity Marketr may pause the project and reschedule the remaining work according to team availability.
Restart fees or revised pricing may apply where a project remains inactive for an extended period.
17. Abandoned Projects
A project may be considered abandoned where the client stops responding, fails to provide required materials, or does not complete agreed payment obligations for an extended period.
Before classifying a project as abandoned, Infinity Marketr may make reasonable attempts to contact the client.
For an abandoned project:
- Payments for completed work remain non-refundable
- Reserved time and resources remain chargeable
- Third-party expenses remain non-refundable
- Restarting the project may require a new schedule
- A restart fee or revised quotation may apply
Any unused balance will be reviewed according to the circumstances, the agreed documents, and the work already completed.
18. Dissatisfaction and Revision Requests
A client should notify Infinity Marketr promptly when work does not match the approved brief or agreed scope.
Where reasonably possible, we may first offer:
- Corrections
- Revisions
- Replacement work
- Technical fixes
- A revised delivery schedule
- Another appropriate remedy
A refund will not normally be approved before Infinity Marketr has been given a reasonable opportunity to review and correct a genuine service issue.
Personal preference, change of mind, or dissatisfaction unrelated to the approved brief may not qualify for a refund.
19. When a Refund May Be Considered
A full or partial refund may be considered where:
- Infinity Marketr has not started the service
- No meaningful resources have been committed
- Infinity Marketr cannot provide a material part of the agreed service
- Infinity Marketr cancels the project without providing a reasonable alternative
- A duplicate payment was made
- An incorrect amount was charged
- A refund is required under applicable law
- Both parties agree to a refund in writing
Eligibility and refund amount will depend on the circumstances of each request.
20. Non-Refundable Situations
A refund will normally not be provided where:
- The client changes their mind
- The client changes business direction
- Work has already been completed
- Work has already been approved
- The client fails to provide required information
- The client delays the project
- The client stops communicating
- The client cancels because of internal budget issues
- The client requests work outside the agreed scope
- Results do not meet expectations despite delivery of the agreed service
- A third-party platform changes its policies
- A domain, license, subscription, or third-party service has been purchased
- Advertising funds have already been spent
- The client breaches the Terms and Conditions
- The client requests unlawful or prohibited activity
- The client has received or used the final deliverables
- The applicable service period has already started or ended
This section remains subject to any mandatory rights under applicable law.
21. Refund Calculation
Where a refund is approved, the refundable amount may be calculated by deducting:
- Value of completed work
- Time spent by team members
- Consultation and meeting time
- Planning and research costs
- Project management costs
- Completed revisions
- Approved milestones
- Administrative expenses
- Payment processing fees
- Taxes that cannot be recovered
- Third-party purchases
- Other committed or non-recoverable costs
Infinity Marketr may provide a reasonable breakdown of the refund calculation upon request.
22. Refund Request Review
After receiving a complete refund request, Infinity Marketr will review:
- The approved scope of work
- Project status
- Work already completed
- Client approvals
- Communication records
- Payments received
- Third-party costs
- Reasons for cancellation
- Applicable contractual terms
We may request additional information before making a decision.
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee that the request will be approved.
23. Refund Processing Time
Where a refund is approved, Infinity Marketr will normally initiate it within 7 to 15 business days after the approval decision.
The time required for the refund to appear in the client’s account may depend on the bank, card issuer, mobile financial service, or payment gateway.
Infinity Marketr is not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions or payment service providers after the refund has been initiated.
24. Refund Method
Approved refunds will normally be returned through the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Where the original method cannot be used, Infinity Marketr may request verified payment details for an alternative refund method.
The client may be responsible for:
- Bank charges
- Payment gateway charges
- Currency conversion costs
- International transfer fees
- Other transaction-related deductions
Infinity Marketr will not send a refund to an unrelated third-party account without appropriate verification.
25. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
A client should contact Infinity Marketr promptly if:
- The same invoice was paid more than once
- An incorrect amount was charged
- An unauthorized payment appears
- A payment was sent to the wrong account
Verified duplicate or excess payments may be refunded or applied as credit toward another invoice, based on mutual agreement.
26. Service Credit
In some situations, Infinity Marketr may offer service credit instead of a cash refund.
Service credit may be used for:
- Future projects
- Additional revisions
- Maintenance services
- Content services
- Marketing services
- Another mutually agreed service
Service credit will be provided only with the client’s agreement and may have a stated validity period.
27. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Clients should contact Infinity Marketr before initiating a bank, card, or payment gateway chargeback so that the issue can be reviewed and resolved.
A false, abusive, or unjustified chargeback may result in:
- Immediate suspension of services
- Withholding of project files or access
- Cancellation of active work
- Recovery of chargeback fees
- Recovery of unpaid service costs
- Appropriate legal action
This section does not prevent a client from raising a legitimate payment dispute through an authorized financial provider.
28. Cancellation by Infinity Marketr
Infinity Marketr may cancel or suspend a project where:
- Payment is overdue
- The client repeatedly fails to cooperate
- The client provides false or misleading information
- The client requests unlawful activity
- The client requests a violation of platform policies
- The client harasses or threatens team members
- Continuing the work creates a security or legal risk
- The client materially breaches an agreement
- The requested work becomes technically or practically impossible
Where Infinity Marketr cancels a project for its own operational reasons and the client is not at fault, we may provide:
- A refund for the eligible uncompleted portion
- A service credit
- A reasonable alternative solution
- A mutually agreed project handover
Where cancellation results from the client’s breach, completed work and committed costs will remain payable.
29. Relationship With Other Agreements
This policy should be read together with:
- Infinity Marketr’s Terms and Conditions
- The relevant quotation
- The project proposal
- The scope of work
- The invoice
- Any written service agreement
- Infinity Marketr’s Privacy Policy
Where a specific project agreement contains different cancellation or refund terms, the specific project agreement will take priority for that project.
30. Changes to This Policy
Infinity Marketr may update this Cancellation & Refund Policy when business practices, services, payment methods, or legal requirements change.
The revised policy will be published on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
Changes will not normally alter a refund or cancellation decision already confirmed in writing unless required by law or agreed by both parties.
